David surprised me today. We both work downtown most of the time, only a few blocks apart. So when David gets off work and walks a little ways to give me his last free coffee (he works at Starbucks) of the day it is always very sweet. However today he was working a Starbucks about 30 minutes away from downtown so when he came in to bring me coffee around noon I was pleasantly surprised. He drove all the way downtown during lunch traffic to bring me coffee. It was incredibly special.
Once I got home we ordered in Chinese food and watched cheesy romantic Christmas movies.
We capped the night off with popcorn, snickers, and jellybeans. It was a perfect night to have in the middle of a very stressful time. I’m thankful for my life and thankful for a husband who loves me.
